Christian Childbirth Class enrolling now for May 2010

Are you expecting? Are you a Christian and searching for a childbirth class that acknowledges God as the creator of life and the designer of labor? Are you searching for a childbirth class to inform you of all the options available to you during labor and birth?

Alpha, Christ Centered Childbirth Preparation, is for you and your birth partner. Learn faith based techniques to reduce pain, decrease anxiety, and increase a positive birthing experience. Learn how to use scripture to decrease fear and become more confident. Comprehensive childbirth class teaches you what to expect in a hospital, understanding interventions and the benefits and risks of each one, labor and delivery terminology, how to stay low risk, relaxation techniques, the mechanics of labor, how to become your own advocate, how to write a birth plan, how your partner can best support you, breastfeeding basics, and newborn care. Includes curriculum book, a short pregnancy devotional book, and an audio CD with music and spoken words to use for relaxation during pregnancy and birth. Small group setting with one on one time w/ instructor available.

    This sounds like what I am looking for. I am looking for a Christian, natural child birthing class with a medical background. However, I live in Murfreesboro. Do you know of anything closer to that area?
